Chesa Stail'Alva - La Punt Chamues (GR)

This venerable artifact from the 17th century
Solar roofMonument protection

In the picturesque alleys of La Punt Chamues (GR) stands the majestic Chesa Stail'Alva, a venerable 17th-century landmark with a roof area of almost exactly 400 m². When we took on the challenge of equipping this historic masterpiece with our innovative solar energy system, we knew that we weren’t simply installing solar modules on a roof—we would be creating a symbiosis of tradition and modernity.

The challenges we faced were many and varied. In this region, where heavy snow loads are a daily occurrence, we needed a solution that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also capable of withstanding the forces of nature. In addition, the very specific design of the roof required planning down to the smallest detail. The collaboration with our specialized partner, Vassella Energie Sagl, was excellent. Thanks to this, and to the care and experience of Carlo Vassella, the company’s owner, and his team, we were able to bring this great project to life together.

Throughout every phase of the project, we worked with great care and in a harmonious atmosphere, which enabled us to achieve an exceptional result together.

Key Facts

  • 400 square meters
    54.08 kWp maximum output
    40,000 kWh annual output

3S Solar Energy System

With approximately 100 CREA modules—comprising CREA MZ modules for maximum output and CREA BZ/OZ modules for the roof’s overall aesthetic—we have successfully adapted to every roof pitch and shape. Our Satinato glass not only offers anti-glare elegance but also ensures a harmonious interplay of light and shadow. Every detail was meticulously planned so that the beauty of Chesa Stail'Alva remains untouched while simultaneously creating a sustainable energy source with around 250 L and M modules.

The trust that homeowner Reto Kienast has placed in our expertise, along with his recommendation to other homeowners to work with experienced partners on their projects, are messages of inestimable value. After all, we know that the long-term benefits and the immeasurable joy created by renewable energy are priceless.
