Solar energy meets design and functionality—as demonstrated by the impressive building of P791 AG—The Car Residence in Belp near Bern. In collaboration with our specialist partner Baur AG, we installed a state-of-the-art solar facade that generates approximately 64,000 kWh of eco-friendly electricity annually with a total capacity of 90.63 kWp.

The Espace Weisshorn mountain station in Zinal (VS) impresses with its panoramic views of the Couronne Impériale and its innovative BIPV facade. At an altitude of 2,700 meters, it combines modern architecture with sustainable energy use. Designed by JBC Architectes SIA and Kevin Epiney Architecte EPFL, the building blends contemporary design with efficient solar energy generation.

Bringing a building with nearly a century of history up to the latest energy standards without losing its character is a unique challenge. In Oberrieden, in the heart of the historic village center and not far from Lake Zurich, Luzian Dörfler, owner and managing director of Dörfler AG, has achieved exactly that.

With the installation of an innovative solar facade at the Scex Rouge mountain station at an altitude of 3,000 meters, 3S is setting a groundbreaking example for building-integrated photovoltaic systems (BIPV) in high-altitude mountain regions. Together with its partner companies Solstis SA and Morand Constructions Métalliques SA, 3S has realized this ambitious project, which sets new ecological and architectural standards.

Located above the Bern Bear Park, in a unique setting overlooking the Aare River and the Old Town, stands the Old Tram Depot—a historic building that now serves as a brewery-restaurant and hotel.

Together with the renowned Maison Hornberg in Saanenmöser-Gstaad and our specialist partner solarUp energie, which installed the system, we have successfully completed the region’s largest solar power plant. This project impressively demonstrates how aesthetic and functional solar solutions can contribute to energy self-sufficiency and promote environmental awareness.
